The deposit and first weekly payment are due before handover. The first weekly payment is included in the stated number of payments and is not an additional payment.

The owner keeps a payment record and confirms payments received. Cash payments require a dated receipt. The renter may request the outstanding balance. Early payment is allowed without an early payment penalty; the amount due is the unpaid agreed balance, subject to any reduction required by law or agreed in writing.

4 Ownership and transfer costs

Ownership remains with the owner until the full agreed purchase amount is paid and the required transfer formalities are completed. Within five working days after full payment, the owner must take the necessary steps to transfer and register ownership to the renter.

Before ownership transfers, the renter must not sell, pledge, sublet or take the vehicle abroad without the owner’s written permission. The owner must not sell or create new restrictions over the vehicle while the renter complies with this agreement.

The renter pays the agreed vehicle transfer and registration costs. The owner pays taxes and charges that the law places on the owner in connection with the sale. This does not change who is legally liable to the authorities.

Inspection and vehicle care

5 Seven day inspection and return

The renter has seven calendar days after handover to arrange an independent inspection for hidden faults. The renter pays for the inspection.

Deadline for reporting a fault, including time: ________________________
Agreed return location and contact: _________________________________

If the renter discovers and reports within that period an undisclosed mechanical, electrical or safety fault that existed at handover, the renter may end the agreement and return the vehicle. A change of mind, a disclosed fault or damage caused after handover is not covered.

The renter must notify the owner before the deadline, describe the fault and provide available evidence. If continued driving would be unsafe or worsen the fault, the renter must stop driving. The renter does not have to authorise a major repair to use this return right.

The parties arrange prompt return of the vehicle, keys and documents. If notice was on time but safe transport or the owner’s availability delays return, up to three further calendar days are allowed, or longer by written agreement.

Within three working days after return, the owner refunds the entire deposit and any weekly payments paid after the first. The first weekly payment is retained as payment for the first week’s use, including an earlier return, unless mandatory law requires its refund. Future weekly payments are cancelled. New damage is addressed separately on evidence and a lawful basis.

After seven days, the owner offers no additional contractual warranty. Timely reported claims and rights that cannot lawfully be excluded remain protected. The owner must not conceal known faults or give false information about the vehicle.

6 Servicing and permitted use

From handover, the renter pays for all servicing, inspections, consumables, repairs, replacement parts, fuel and traffic fines arising during their use. The seven day return right and mandatory legal rights remain unchanged.

Taxi use: permitted / prohibited
Other authorised drivers: _________________________________________
Insurer and policy number: ________________________________________
Insurance paid by: ______________________________________________
Cover, exclusions and excess: ____________________________________

The renter must use the vehicle carefully and lawfully, follow maintenance requirements and promptly report accidents, theft or serious damage to the owner and, where required, the police and insurer.

Damage and overdue payments

7 Responsibility for damage or loss

From handover until the vehicle is returned or ownership transfers, the renter accepts financial responsibility for damage, theft or destruction of the vehicle.

This expressly includes shelling, missile strikes, drone attacks, explosions, falling debris, fire, flooding, storms, hail, falling trees or objects, acts of third parties and other military, natural or extraordinary events. The renter accepts these risks even without fault, to the extent permitted by law.

For damage, the renter pays the reasonable repair cost. For theft or destruction beyond repair, compensation takes account of the vehicle’s market value immediately before the event, salvage value and insurance or third party payments. The owner cannot recover twice for the same loss. Pre-existing faults remain subject to section 5.

Complete loss does not automatically make all future weekly payments payable in addition to compensation. The parties prepare a written settlement taking account of payments already made and the applicable law.

8 Overdue payments and return

Payments are credited first to the oldest overdue weekly payment. Previously late payments that have been paid do not count as outstanding debt.

If the unpaid overdue balance reaches one regular weekly payment, the owner sends a final warning to the renter’s agreed email address. It must state the amount overdue, payment instructions, the deadline and the consequences of non-payment.

The renter has seven calendar days from confirmed receipt to clear all overdue payments. If paid in time, the agreement continues. A lawful or agreed payment suspension must be respected.

If the debt is not cleared, the owner may give a separate written termination notice and require return of the vehicle through the lawful process. There is no right to use force or seize the vehicle unlawfully. No separate 50% penalty is imposed by this agreement.

Except for the special return terms in sections 5 and 9, return does not automatically cancel every debt or forfeit every payment. The parties prepare a written settlement taking account of payments received, the returned vehicle and lawful, evidenced claims. There must be no double recovery or automatic charge for all future uplift.

Mobilisation and signatures

9 Return following military mobilisation

If the renter is mobilised for military service, the renter may end the agreement and return the vehicle without an early termination penalty. The renter or their authorised representative must notify the owner, provide documentary confirmation of mobilisation and arrange return of the vehicle, keys and documents.

The owner refunds the initial deposit less reasonable, evidenced costs of repairing new faults or damage arising since handover for which the renter is responsible under this agreement, and the actual cost of necessary cleaning or interior deep cleaning.

Condition is compared with the handover record. Pre-existing faults and ordinary wear and tear are not charged. The owner provides a written breakdown and supporting evidence for deductions.

The remaining deposit is refunded within seven working days after return. A dispute over a deduction does not delay repayment of the undisputed amount. Weekly payments already paid are retained as payment for past vehicle use, unless mandatory law requires otherwise. Future weekly payments stop on return. Weekly payments are credited towards purchase only if the purchase is completed; these special return terms apply on mobilisation.

10 Notices and general terms

The renter confirms access to the stated email address by replying to a test email before handover, checks that address and promptly reports changes. The owner keeps the original notices and delivery evidence. Merely showing a message in the sent folder does not prove receipt.

If email delivery cannot be confirmed, the owner uses registered post with proof of receipt or personal delivery against signature. The seven day payment deadline runs from confirmed receipt or another legally valid service date.

Ukrainian law applies. Mandatory legal rights prevail over conflicting wording. Changes must be agreed in writing. Each party receives a signed copy. These English and Ukrainian review drafts are intended to have the same meaning; any difference must be resolved before signing.

11 Signatures and handover confirmation

The parties confirm the completed payment terms, vehicle condition and handover details. The owner confirms receipt of the deposit and first weekly payment. The renter confirms receipt of the vehicle, keys and listed documents.
